We use industry standard, state-of-the-art software. We utilize cutting-edge hardware as well. Our computer operating systems are the latest releases. All images that are not customer-supplied, are purchased through stock photography companies or out-sourced to professional freelance photographers. Our web development department uses the latest programming techniques and software to give us and our clients a strong "Internet Presence." Our website statistics are reviewed every month to help us fine-tune various websites. Other services such as Internet hosting, DSL Internet connections, occasional drum scanning and professional photography is out-sourced to pre-qualified vendors.

Leisure Publishing Company produces all publications on Apple Macintosh computers. Our Art, Production and Editorial Departments are equipped with Apple Power Macs – G4s, G3s and iMACs, which are linked together through an internal Compaq Proliant server. Our system allows for maximum speed, versatility and management of large graphic files. We also use LaCie Electron 22 Blue III monitors. Calibrated monitors assure that the color viewed on screen is an accurate representation of the color you’ll view on Iris proofs.

We allocate 118 GBs of storage on our server for management of current graphic files. Leisure Publishing Company maintains CD archives of all publications in-house, not at a remote storage facility. These on-site archives allow immediate access to graphic files or images, if necessary.

All files are supplied to print vendors as PDF (portable document format) files on CD or transmitted directly to their FTP site. All of our publications are produced using direct-to-plate technology.
