Travel Guides

Leisure is the official publisher of travel guides for local, regional and state-wide agencies and organizations including the Virginia Tourism Corporation, the state goverment tourism agency for Virginia. We have won many awards for our publishing and travel guide work, including most notably the 2008 Mercury Award from the Travel Industry Association. The national Mercury Award recognizes the Virginia Travel Guide as the premier visitor guidebook among all of the various 50 state guides.

Leisure Publishing has a highly skilled web marketing team and manages and maintains websites for each of our magazines and guidebooks. The company is in the process of redesigning all of our websites, as well as focusing on the monetization and profitability of each web product.

The Southern Community Guide, officially launched in 2008, features exclusive gated, private and golf communities in the Southeast.

Quality of Life

These books are a cooperative effort between Leisure Publishing and local chambers of commerce to produce a high-quality community profile that meets the client's needs. Leisure's role is to provide the expertise in advertising sales, ad design, editorial writing, photography and layout. The vision and direction for the book comes from the chambers of commerce.
